One of the best handling DH bikes I've ridden. Little bit steeper then most DH frames at 65 degree head tube angle, compared to most DH'ers which are running 63 degree. She's light enough at about 41 pounds Stock weight. Awesome bang for the buck in my opinion. She'll be getting BoXXer WC's and a Vivid Air in the in the near future. Hopefully with some nice deemax rims.
Redneck voice.... Look Mah, I told you my brakes work better when i turn...
Wouldn't skidding that much on a real trail show a lack of talent????
No i'm completely fake!!! I don't exist,... I'm just a figment of your imagination. @ Mucky-Dirt....
I'm not a tree hugger, but pointless destruction of nature, just isn't my cup of tea... Respect your enviroment... Pretty simple philosophy IMO... Where I live in Canada, the CO's would have your bike or worse for destroying some protected plant or area... Just seems like a very careless act, for a 2 minute video. Thats all.
Whats with tearing up the ground for a quick photo session / video? The first half of the video the rider is just walking on a beach then riding through some botanical garden, Thinks to himself... "Oh this looks good"! Then turns and drives straight through the flowers on no real trail (0:52) and straight into freshly cut berms that you just dug up for this shoot (1:02)... Nothing like tearing apart the environment for a 2 minute video....
Holy crap @CFOxtrot & SIGNIT.... Seriously just let it go.... Someone has to stop the ranting, it's like grade school on here. You guys spammed the most of this thread with useless banter. Can't we just agree that the bikes awesome, and all get along. Every bike has up and downsides. But you guys are arguing like a married old couple.
FRAME #8 = Look closely... Dave is touching the red and white tape with his rear tire. That tape was the literal and metaphorical line between "life and death" and he decided to smack it with his Minion DH and teach everyone a lesson.
Canadian winters in the Rockies are EPIC.... Most bikers I know just transition from biking, to snowboarding or skiing for the winter. Big mountain lines and fresh pow are a great substitute for biking. Especially with 6-8 months of snow. And no matter what time of year, winter or summer, you can find most of your friends at the local mountain... Trying to fill their gravity fed addictions. About Us
